The online lecture room that teaches with your material.
Turn your slides, papers and case studies into study units. Check understanding with live quizzes. Let students ask your material after class, and see what they asked, without names.

Let's agree on the next steps by Friday.
Built for how universities really teach
Large groups, little feedback
In a full lecture you rarely know who followed.
A live quiz shows it in one minute.
Quiet students do not ask
Many questions are never asked in front of the room.
They ask the material, and you see the questions without names.
International cohorts
Technical terms in a second language slow learning down.
Highlight a word and see it in one of 25 languages.
Slides are not a study text
Students revise from bullet points and miss the logic.
Your file becomes a study unit with terms, self-test and a case.
Upload a lecture. Get a study unit your students can work with.
- Use a real file from your course: lecture slides, a paper, a case study or a script, as PDF, PowerPoint or Word.
- Turn it into an iChapter: a study text, the key terms, questions, a self-test, a case to work on and a writing task, all based on your file.
- You preview it first and share it with the group when you are ready. Students can download your original file at the end.
- Add pictures and short YouTube videos, and play a video for the whole group at the same time.
- A study text
- The key terms
- Questions
- A self-test
- A case to work on
- A writing task
Your files are not added to any shared library.
Know what the room understood, while you can still explain it again.
Send a short quiz to every screen in the lecture. Students answer, then see the right answers with a short explanation. You see straight away where the group stands.
Try it: this is a real question from a microeconomics test unit.
Elasticity check
Price +10 %, quantity −5 %. What is the price elasticity of demand?
Right!
Not quite. The right answer is marked.
E = % change in quantity ÷ % change in price = −5 % ÷ 10 % = −0.5. Demand is inelastic.
Example: how a group of 12 answered
Pick an answer
Questions at midnight before the exam? Your material answers.
In study units made from your files, students ask in their own words. The AI answers only from your course material and shows where the answer comes from. You see what the group asked, never who asked, and can plan the next session around it.
- Show me the example step by step.×5
- When is demand elastic?×4
- elastic vs. inelastic×3
Plan the next lesson around what the group really asked.

Highlight to translate, 25 languages
International students highlight a term in the study unit, the chat or their own document and see it in their language.

Lecture notes as a PDF
Every student’s notebook sorts itself into takeaways, new words, questions and to-dos, and ends as a designed PDF.

Self-tests that stay honest
“Check my answers” only checks what a student has done so far. The answers to the next questions stay hidden.

A private word during the seminar
A student asks you for a short private talk without stopping the class. Students can also whisper with each other for pair work.

A whiteboard students can follow
Students see live where you point while you explain a model or a diagram.

Invitations with Yes, Maybe, No
Invite a course or a guest lecturer by email. They answer with one click and add the session to their calendar.
One classroom for every teaching format

Built by people who teach
iConnect is made by GoinLabs in Stuttgart, the sister company of Goinenglish. The idea behind it comes from Andrew Yarahmadi, who lectures in Business English and in Finance and Investment at ISM and teaches at the University of Hohenheim, and every Goinenglish class runs in it.
The fastest way to judge it: send us one of your own lecture files and we show you the study unit, the quiz and “Ask the material” in a short live demo.

Questions from universities
Do students need an account or an installation?
No. Students join with the link in any modern browser on a laptop, tablet or phone. Only the lecturer needs a licence.
Which files can I turn into a study unit?
PDF, PowerPoint and Word: lecture slides, papers, case studies, scripts or process descriptions.
Is my lecture material added to a shared library?
No. Study units made from your files are for your course, and your files are not added to any shared library.
Does the AI make up answers?
“Ask the material” answers only from your course material and shows where the answer comes from, for example the slide or page.
Can I see which student asked a question?
No. You see the questions of the group, never who asked. That way students ask what they really want to know.
Can I use it with Moodle, ILIAS or my email?
Yes. A class is a link, so you can post it in your learning platform, a course page or an email invitation.
What does it cost for a whole faculty?
Lecturers start with Teacher, institutes and language centres with School (10 lecturers). For more lecturers, request a campus offer with an invoice to your university.
